MARILYN KENTZ – television host, actress, comedian, speaker, parent educator, author, fearless woman
Marilyn Kentz is a 3-time published author and television personality. She was nominated for a Cable Ace Award for best comedy writing and performing for her Showtime Comedy Special, “My Kid Beat Up Your Honor Student”. In the 90s she and next-door-neighbor, Caryl Kristensen, parlayed their standup comedy act into the NBC sitcom, “The Mommies”. She then co-hosted and was a producer on the ABC talk show Caryl & Marilyn: Real Friends. Her books include The Motherload (HarperCollins), Not Your Mother’s Midlife: A Ten Step Guide to Fearless Aging (Andrews McMeel) and Fearless Women: Midlife Portraits (Stewart, Tabori, Chang).
Today she performs a solo comedy show for Baby Boomer Women called “Will I Ever Wear A Bikini Again?” She is also a ghostwriter, an artist, provides both humorous and inspirational speaking events, facilitates writer’s support groups and Fearless Women support groups, and is a parent educator.
